This past Sunday evening, until Tuesday Morning, early morning, thousands of people gathered in Minneapolis, Mn to attend Snowta at The Armory. People of all kinds traveled from all 50 United States, and 16 countries for this two-day festival. Snowta’s New Years Eve Festival has been fast growing, and with it only going on its third year we are to the moon. If you attended in either of the first two years you got to experience this festival at the Minneapolis Convention Center, however, about a month prior to this year’s event it changed locations to The Armory. We were beyond thrilled with the move. One would note the improvement on sounds and visual production, along with the overall setup featuring two floors, with four stages, and many other fun events besides music including alien laser tag, a skate park, and live painting from a few local artists including Kater and Sig-Natur. Some of our favorite sets from the weekend include Marshmello, Ghastly, Nghtmre, Ganja White Night, Boogie T, Melvv, Spark Master Tape, ARMNHMR, and of course the legendary New Years Eve countdown set featuring Skrillex. Rich The Kid, unfortunately, had a UTV accident, and emergency surgery so his set was canceled. Each and every artist that played brought something different to this event that was pieced together perfectly for us to absorb. Us who attended are fairly certain that when you start your New Years with Skrillex on the stage you’re almost destined to have a year like never before. Until next New Years Eve weekend Snowta, Happy New Year!
