New years eve is quite possibly the biggest night all year as far as parties, and festivals go. Ringing in the new years with a bang is big should be on everyone’s list, let’s be honest. This year our Top 5 NYE festivals are as follows in order of our interests:
5. Lights all Night (Dallas, TX)
Lights All Night in Dallas has been a strong presence for New Year’s Eve for a few years, but growing bigger each year. This year they went bigger then they have ever before bringing the likes of Above & Beyond, Zedd, Deadmau5, RL Grime, Nero, A$SP Ferg, and so many other huge artists. If I was anywhere near Dallas on New Years, this is where we would be!

4. Decadence (Chandler, AZ)
Decadance New Years Eve is another one sitting on the top of our list featuring The Chainsmokers, Deadmau5, Disclosure, Zedd, Porter Robinson, and a handful of other artists bringing big light to the EDM world. With a few similarities to Lights All Night, they both have a heavy hitting way to start 2017. This is an event I would travel quite a distance to attend.

3. SnowGlobe Music Festival (South Lake Tahoe, CA)
Snowglobe in South Lake Tahoe has designed their lineup around Major Lazer, Odesza, Flume, and The Chainsmokers. They have done something a little more unique over there at Snowglobe. They have utilized more diverse headliners in the EDM world and even included a few rappers. The New Years experience in South Lake Tahoe will really be one to touch the heart, and in return be straight fire.

2. Snowta (Minneapolis, MN)
Snowta NYEis going to experience their first New Year at the Minneapolis Convention Center come December 31st. This festival made it so far on our list not only because of the headliners but also because of they way they have been promoting this event. Featuring Big Gigantic, Tipper, Infected Mushroom, Waka Flocka Flame, Prof, Hippie Sabotage, and so much more talent in the first New Years festival of its type. It’s and indoor festival within multiple rooms of the very large convention center with a skating competition, active art exhibits, and a handful of other things they have promised to release information about as the event nears. This is the event that The Eyerarchy team will attend to bring in 2017 with a bang!

1. Bassnectar’s famous New Years Eve 360 (Birmingham, AL)
Number one on our list is going to Bassnectar’s New Years Eve 360. This event always sells out in a matter of minutes, as do most of Bassnectar’s event. If you’ve ever spoken to anyone who been to a Bassnectar NYE, they will vouch that there is no better way to go from one year to the next. They could not have picked a better team to make this event happen, featuring Gramatik, Joker, and The Librarian. If you happen to be in Birmingham, AL on New Years Eve and have to opportunity to go to this, don’t think twice!
